Lead licensing in Nevada
Nevada has no state-run lead paint certification, so EPA handles both the renovation rule and the lead abatement program. A firm renovating, repairing or painting a pre-1978 home or child-occupied facility should be an EPA Lead-Safe Certified Firm with a certified renovator, and EPA certifies abatement, inspection and risk assessment work. You can search EPA's Lead-Safe Certified Firm locator to see the certification on record. Check EPA's site for current requirements.
