Asbestos licensing in Delaware
Delaware requires asbestos abatement contractors, whether Class A or Class B, and professional service firms to hold a license, renewed each year, from the state Asbestos Office within the Division of Facilities Management. Supervisors, workers and project monitors need state certification after training from an approved provider. The state publishes a Certified Asbestos Vendors list on its open data portal where you can look up the license on record. Check the Asbestos Office's site for current requirements and which projects are covered.
