Terms of Service

RemediationPros is operated by Echo Six Group LLC ("we", "us").

These terms cover the RemediationPros website, a directory of environmental remediation contractors. Using the site, creating an account, claiming or submitting a listing, or starting Premium means you agree to these terms. If you do this for a company, you confirm you are allowed to act for that company.

Many listings are compiled from public state and federal license rosters. A company can also submit itself, or claim a listing that is already here. A self-submitted listing stays off the public site until we confirm it appears on an official roster. Claiming a listing, or paying for Premium, does not by itself publish it.

When a profile says “License on record,” we mean we found that company on an official state or federal license roster as of the date shown on the profile. An expiration date appears when the board publishes one. That label is not a promise the license is current, and it is not an endorsement. Premium, and a Featured or “Featured on RemediationPros” label, is paid placement. Paying does not change the license record or how we check it.

A listing is not a recommendation, endorsement, or promise that a contractor holds a current license, is insured, is qualified, or is available. License information can be incomplete or out of date. Before you hire anyone, confirm the current license with the issuing board. Contractors on the site are independent businesses. We are not a party to the work you hire them to do.

We can refuse, edit, unpublish, or remove a listing, including one you submitted or claimed.

Accounts use Supabase. You sign up with an email address and a password. Supabase sends the confirmation email, and you confirm that email before you add a company. A session cookie keeps you signed in. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping the password to yourself. You can sign out from the dashboard.

When you submit or claim a company, you give us business details such as the company name, location, services, license information, and contact details, plus a short note about how you are connected to the company. Public listings can show the business name, location, services, license numbers, phone, email, and website.

Submit information you are allowed to share, and that you believe is accurate. Do not claim a company you do not represent.

Premium is not for sale yet. It is coming later. Free listings can receive quote requests and show listing stats now.

When Premium is offered, it will be an optional monthly subscription for one listing. Sales tax may apply and will be calculated at checkout. While it is active, that listing is placed ahead of free listings in search for its service area, shows a Featured label, and can include a logo and photos. Premium does not publish a listing that is still waiting for review, and it does not change the license record or how we check it.

When checkout is open, it will run through Stripe. Stripe Managed Payments is the merchant of record for Premium sales and calculates and handles sales tax. Stripe collects payment details. We do not store your full card number. We keep the Stripe customer id, subscription id, price, status, renewal date, and scheduled cancel date so the listing stays in sync.

When a subscription is active, it renews each month until you cancel. Use Manage billing on the dashboard to update a card or cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and Premium stays on until then. If a payment fails and Stripe marks the subscription unpaid or canceled, Premium ends. A code entered at checkout is applied by Stripe.

Questions about a charge go through the contact form. Stripe, as merchant of record, handles the payment and the sales tax on that charge.

• Do not submit a listing or claim for a company you are not allowed to represent.
• Do not post license numbers, contact details, or other information you know is false.
• Do not try to break accounts, billing, or the directory, or scrape the site in a way that degrades it.
• Do not use the site to send spam or to harass anyone.

Account confirmation email is sent through Supabase. Listing and claim notices are sent through Resend. Those notices cover events such as a new submission, a new claim, a claim approval, and a self-submitted listing being published or taken off the public site. They are about your account or listing. A public profile has a request-a-quote form. When the business has claimed its listing and saved an email address, we email that request to the address they saved. When the business has not claimed its listing, we store the request and show it to that business only if they claim the listing within 30 days. We do not email addresses taken from a public roster. We never sell homeowner details, and we do not publish the request. Use the contact form if you have a question about one of these messages. The contact form emails our admins. It does not send you an automatic copy.

The site is provided as available. We do not warrant that listings, license numbers, or search results are complete, current, or error-free. To the extent the law allows, Echo Six Group LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for a hiring decision made from the directory. Some laws do not allow certain limitations. Where that is the case, those limitations apply only as far as they can.

We can update these terms. The Last updated date on this page changes when we do. If you keep using RemediationPros after an update, the new terms apply. If you have Premium and you do not agree with a change, cancel the subscription from Manage billing.
