Asbestos licensing in Missouri
Missouri requires asbestos abatement contractors to register with the Department of Natural Resources before doing projects and to re-register every year. The people doing the work, such as supervisors, workers and inspectors, must be certified by the department after state-accredited training and a state exam. We did not find a public roster, so ask the contractor for its registration and its workers' certificates, and check the department's site for current requirements.
