Asbestos licensing in Nebraska
Nebraska requires a business to hold an asbestos business entity license from the Department of Health and Human Services before carrying out an asbestos project, and individuals who work in asbestos occupations also need a license. State law excuses a business that only does small projects, under 260 linear feet or 160 square feet, or one working on its own facilities with its own employees. Use the state's license search to check the license on record, and check the department's site for current requirements.
