Asbestos licensing in New Hampshire
New Hampshire requires companies and individuals doing asbestos-related work to hold either a license or a certification from the Department of Environmental Services, with a few exceptions. Major abatement must be performed by an abatement entity holding a license, using certified supervisors and workers. State law excuses owners of single-family, owner-occupied homes who personally do abatement within their own property. We did not find a public roster, so ask for the license on record and check NHDES's site for current requirements.
