Lead licensing in Delaware
Delaware requires individuals and firms that do lead-based paint work to be certified by the Division of Public Health. That includes contractors who disturb painted surfaces in homes, child care facilities and schools built before 1978, who must also follow lead-safe work practices. We did not find a public roster of certified firms, so ask for the certification on record. Check the division's site for current requirements.
