Asbestos licensing in West Virginia
West Virginia law makes it unlawful to contract for an asbestos abatement project without a valid asbestos contractor's license. To qualify, an applicant must complete an EPA-approved supervisor training course and show that it and its employees can follow federal and state requirements. The state's Office of Environmental Health Services posts a search of current license holders, so you can check the license on record. Check the agency's site for current requirements.
