Radon licensing in Ohio
Ohio requires radon testers and mitigators to hold an Ohio Department of Health license. The department issues licenses to mitigation contractors, the mitigation specialists who design and supervise installations, testers and labs. A mitigation company must have a specialist responsible for its license. The department offers a Radon Licensure map to find professionals on its list. Check the license on record there, and check the agency's site for current requirements.
