Mold licensing in Connecticut
In Connecticut, residential mold remediation is done by contractors holding a Department of Consumer Protection Home Improvement Contractor registration with a Mold Remediation addition. That addition requires certification from an approved program, such as NORMI or IICRC. Commercial mold remediation is not covered by this registration. The state's eLicense site lets you check the registration on record. Check the department's site for current requirements.
